Each April, before the lawn mowing season starts, there is work that needs to be done on the lawn and in the landscape. No matter how clean a lawn was in the fall, there always is debris the following spring. We call this work a Spring Clean Up, which is a service that prepares the lawn and landscape for the spring growing season. During this service visit, we take care of a number of potentially damaging concerns that may be found, including the following items:
This is an important service in the spring for all properties. Leaves that are not cleaned up can damage the turf and trap diseases in the shrub beds. Leaves from a diseased tree often carry the spores of the disease and the spring rains may active those spores and re-infect the same tree or others.
All debris that is cleaned up during the service visit is taken away with us. No bags or stickers to worry about and nothing left at the end of your driveway. All of the debris is loaded onto our trucks and properly disposed of at one of our yards. There is a charge for the debris disposal, which is measured in cubic yards. Please see below for pricing information.
During the spring clean up, the foreman of the crew has been trained to look for certain possible concerns, such as snow mold or turf damage. If the foreman sees a concern, he will notify a manager who will follow up and suggest remedies to you.
Something to consider in the spring as well is that the gutters probably are filled with debris just like the beds. For a complete clean up and a good start to spring, have your gutters cleaned while we do your spring clean up.
Both spring and fall clean ups are done by the man hour. The 2015 man hour rate is $35 per man hour with a 4 hour minimum. The 2015 disposal cost is $15 per cubic yard, the same price it has been for almost a decade. Gutter cleaning starts at $90 and goes up from there, however, most residentials homes are right around that price. Please call our office for an estimate on a spring clean up and gutter cleaning, or request a quote online.
Since 1984 we have been specializing in landscape maintenance, also known as lawn service, for commercial and multi-family properties. We proudly maintain hundreds of apartments, condominiums, townhomes, HOA's, shopping malls, and office complexes. Visit our Commercial Lanndscape Maintenance page for more information.
As a convenience to our customers, Suburban Landscaping is pleased to offer an alternative form of billing our services to our residential and commercial maintenance clients. Our Full Service Lawn Program is a flat rate billing for all of the services listed below. The ala carte prices for these services are estimated and added together and divided into eight equal monthly payments. A separate contract will be provided to you outlining these services.
The following services are included in our basic monthly plan:
If the basic monthly plan does not quite fit the needs of your home, please feel free to call our office and ask for a more personalized quotation. We can tailor this program for just the service desired or add more services, such as mulching.
Prices for the basic monthly service plan outlined above start at $225 per month and rise depending upon several variables such as the size of your property, the amount of shrubs and bed space you have, and the amount of trees located on your property. If you would like a quote for the optional monthly service plan, please call our office and speak the Maintenance Department, or request a exact quote on-line. For prices on ala-carte maintenance items, please see our Example Pricing page.
Our full service lawn program is billed once per month for eight months, April through October. You will recieve your bill for the current month on the 1st of the month. We ask that you send your payment in by the 10th of the month. Many customers prefer the convenience of paying over the phone by credit card each month. We accept Visa & Mastercard credit cards.
Our ala carte service is a contract free service, meaning that you may cancel at any time and receive a bill only for the most recent services your received. Our full service lawn program is slightly different, yet still cancel-able. With our full service lawn program, we provide many more services up front that are paid for over the eight months of billing, therefore, if you needed to cancel your contract, due to moving for example, you might have received more services than your billing covered. This primarily happens in the spring and summer. If you need to cancel your contract, we would send you a bill for just the services you received that you monthly payments had not covered yet, usually a minor addition to the bill. For more details or a better understanding of this billing, please call our Business Manager for clarification.
Of course, our full service lawn program is only an option that we are offering this as an alternative to the regular service and billing procedure.
